Debbie was born and raised in Iowa and remains an avid Big 10 football fan. She relocated to Miami in 1980 to pursue her career as a computer systems analyst. Debbie and her husband, Jim Sopko, moved to Martin County in 1987 to raise a family. Jim is a partner with the law firm of Kramer, Sopko and Levenstein and specializes in wills, trusts, estate planning and tax law. They both are very active in local charitable organizations including restoration of the historic Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart, the Library Foundation, and Helping People Succeed which provides training and education for special needs individuals of all ages. Debbie also enjoys tennis on the Martin Downs inter-club league in Palm City, practices Iyengar yoga, participates in two book clubs, and is a sustaining member of the local Junior League chapter. She served as the Executive Coordinator of the Martin County Taxpayers’ Association between 1995 and 2011.

Debbie’s appreciation of technology and extensive knowledge of the community serve her clients’ marketing and advertising needs well.
